a. New Projects
Subscriber Fee
A Subscriber Fee is required from developers before commencing a new project. It’s a fixed amount of $2,200.00 per unit to be constructed.
b. Opening an Account for a New Property
Water and/or Sewer application
The Application for Water and/or Sewer Service should be filled at the office and signed by the applicant before water service is installed.
Deposit
The amount of deposit depends on meter size and service required (see Water and Sewer Rate Schedule).
Tap-In Fee
The amount of TapIn fee depends on service required (see Water and Sewer Rate Schedule).
Use Permit and Sales Deed
Use Permit from ARPE is required before any new service installation. Sales Deed is required for proof of ownership.
c. New Owner Account for Existing Property
Water and/or Sewer application
The Application for Water and/or Sewer Service should be filled at the office and signed by the applicant before water service is transferred to new owner.
Deposit
The amount of deposit depends on meter size and service required. Please refer to Water and Sewer Rate Schedule.
Account Balance Clearance
A certificate of debt should be requested before closing and cleared by the vendor during the process.
Sales Deed
Sales Deed is required as evidence of when ownership is effective.
d. Deposit Transfers
From One Client to a New Client
From One Property to another Property
For all of the above, a signed Certificate of Deposit and a written authorization are required.
e. Property under rental
No deposit for service is required from tenants. Property’s owner maintains full responsibility over the account balance. A written authorization from owner is required for tenants to receive bills in their names and address.
f. Service Discontinuance
Requested by Customers
Service may be temporarily disconnected, but customer will continue receiving a minimum monthly charge.
By PDMU
PDMU will temporarily disconnect the water service to accounts with more than 30 days overdue. A written advice is sent 15 days prior to the discontinuance of the service. Temporary suspension of service does not release the subscriber from the payment of the minimum monthly charge.
After 13 months of temporary suspension of service, the water meter will be removed and the minimum monthly charge will be discontinued.
PDMU will charge a reconnection fee of $200.00, if service is either temporarily or permanently disconnected due to lack of payment.
Subscribers also will pay any legal fees or costs incurred in efforts to collect balances due.
