Introduction of Key Persons

Reynaldo Encarnación, Executive Director/General Manager - Responsible for the administrative and corporate functions of the corporation. Oversees the daily operational and technical procedures pertaining to the wastewater treatment plant, the potable water distribution system and the collection of the sanitary sewer.

Nelly E. Arroyo, Human Resources Manager & Corporate Affairs Representative - Responsible for the human resources administration and Board of Directors related matters.

Wanda Gerena, Accounting Manager – Is the custodian of the corporate assets. Establish organization’s policies, procedures and oversees the General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) applicable to the Corporation. Has overall responsibility of the deposits, credits, collections and customer service functions.

Mary Lou Ortiz, Customer Service Representative & General Clerk – In charge of customer service pertaining to new service connections; change of address as well as changes in ownership and properties; and customer’s accounts data entry.

Edgardo Rosario, Junior Accountant & Inventory Control Agent – Responsible for performing accounting activities mainly related to accounts payable/receivable and functions related to the inventory control of the assets of the organization.

Daniel Torrellas, WWTP & Engineering Manager – Has the responsibility of assuring full compliance with the regulatory/government agencies and supervises the Wastewater Treatment Plant and compost operations personnel.  

waterdrop03About 25,700 liters (6,800 gallons) of water is required to grow a day's food for a family of four. It takes 5,680 liters (1,500 gallons) of water to process one barrel of beer. It takes 450 liters (120 gallons) of water to produce one egg. To process one chicken we need 44 liters (11.6 gallons) of water. To process one can of fruit or vegetables we need 35 liters (9.3 gallons) of water.
